About Us

We are a warm, family‑centred nursery where every child is loved, nurtured and encouraged to explore.

Our approach brings together children, parents and educators in a caring community where curiosity, confidence and joy grow every day.

Everyday Explorers was founded by Natalie O’Brien and Sarah White, who share a deep passion for Early Years education, strong family partnership and the realities of juggling busy family life.

Together they created a nurturing ‘home-from-home’ setting that truly supports families, offering bespoke, flexible, loving care where every child feels seen, valued and ready to explore.

Natalie O'Brien

Director, Manager & Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Natalie brings over twenty years of experience in early years education, leadership and family support.

As a mother of two, she blends professional expertise with genuine empathy and understanding. Natalie has worked across a wide range of childcare roles, including management, teaching support, nannying and childminding, giving her a rich insight into child development and family needs. She leads with warmth, clarity and a strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high‑quality practice.

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), she ensures that every child’s wellbeing, safety and emotional security remain at the heart of our setting.

Although we are currently a small team, we are growing with intention and care. We follow robust safer recruitment procedures and will only employ professionals who share our values, our ethos and our belief that everything begins with love, care and strong relationships. Every new team member will be chosen not only for their qualifications and experience, but for their warmth, integrity and commitment to giving children the very best start in life.

Sarah White

Director, Manager, Deputy DSL & SENDCo

Sarah has over a decade of experience in early years care and brings a nurturing, family‑centred approach to everything she does.

As a mother of three, she understands the importance of love, stability and connection in a child’s early years. Sarah has worked across a variety of settings, including supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and running a successful childminding service alongside Natalie.

As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) and SENDCo, she ensures that children with additional needs receive thoughtful, personalised support and that all children feel valued, understood and celebrated for who they are.
